JENNIFER HUANG HARRIS, MD
My own story starts with being a shy child of Chinese immigrants. I found solace in books; in other people's stories I found common threads of human experience which made me feel less alone. In adulthood, that love for stories has evolved into a desire to help other people find and tell their own stories. I believe that helping people understand themselves, the the arc of their story and their place in the world is an important and meaningful task. I've also come to see what a gift that genuine connection with another human being can be.
I currently juggle the joys and challenges of being a wife and working mother, and though my 20 years of formal schooling are over, I consider myself to be a lifelong student. I love learning new things, and am particularly drawn to learning and reading about philosophy, faith, science, the arts, technology, and culture. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, as well as gardening, music, reading, and cooking.
